Important Information on the School Budget

On Monday, February 26th the Board of Education approved the Superintendent's 2018-19 School Budget.  The budget now goes to the Board of Selectmen for a non-binding recommendation and then to the Board of Finance for approval.  You can find all of those meeting dates on the Town of Ridgefield website.

For the most recent 2018-19 Budget Proposal and other budget related files by RPS, please click here.

Please let your voice be heard. We encourage you to let the Board of Selectmen and Board of Finance know your thoughts about the budget. Individual Board of Ed members can also be reached by email.

Attention 8th Grade Parents:

Parent Circles Starting Up

The Ridgefield Community Coalition Against Substance Abuse (RCCASA), in association with the Ridgefield PTAs and Ridgefield Library, offers a program each Spring for parents who will have a child entering high school next year. Parent Circles are small discussion groups, facilitated by an expert in adolescent development, in which you can gain information on evidence-based parenting practices and share insights with other parents. Research continues to demonstrate the importance of proactive parenting, and that specific practices, begun early enough, can make a big difference. Circles are starting up soon. For more information and how to register, follow this link.

The Ridgefield High School National Honor Society will once again begin hosting FREE tutoring/homework help sessions weekly on Tuesdays & Thursdays.  Click here for more information.
